Lena & The Slide Brothers
Original blues & roots music since 2009.
Lena & The Slide Brothers was formed in 2009 in Helsinki, Finland.

The first album "Turn It On" came out in 2010, the second "Shine Your Light" in 2013.-----Their third album "The Road" was released in 2016 and it received great reviews and plenty of airplay world wide.

The latest album "IV" (2019) has received superb reviews everywhere and the blues radios all over the world have taken it on their playlists, UK IBBA Top 40 on April and May among others. "A solid winner 6/6."- Blues News Norway.

The band has played at the most of Finnish blues and roots music festivals as well as in clubs and concert halls all over the country and visited also Sweden, Estonia, France, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland.

Lena and her band mates occasionally perform as an acoustic duo or an electric blues trio. In 2016 Lena & The Slide Brothers represented Finland at EBU European Blues Challenge 2016 in Italy.

On January 2017 the band won two categories at the FINNISH BLUES AWARDS 2017.  The artist/band of the year and the best song of the year. (The Road You're On).

Das erste Album „Turn It On“ erschien 2010, das zweite „Shine Your Light“ 2013.-----Ihr drittes Album „The Road“ wurde 2016 veröffentlicht und erhielt großartige Kritiken und wurde weltweit häufig gespielt.

Das neueste Album „IV“ (2019) erhielt überall hervorragende Kritiken und wurde von den Bluesradios auf der ganzen Welt in ihre Playlists aufgenommen, unter anderem in die UK IBBA Top 40 im April und Mai. „Ein solider Gewinner mit 6/6.“ – Blues News Norway. Die Band hat auf den meisten finnischen Blues- und Roots-Musikfestivals sowie in Clubs und Konzerthallen im ganzen Land gespielt und auch Schweden, Estland, Frankreich, Italien, Belgien und die Schweiz besucht.

Lena und ihre Bandkollegen treten gelegentlich als Akustikduo oder elektrisches Bluestrio auf.
2016 vertraten Lena & The Slide Brothers Finnland bei der EBU European Blues Challenge 2016 in Italien.
Im Januar 2017 gewann die Band bei den FINNISH BLUES AWARDS 2017 zwei Kategorien: Künstler/Band des Jahres und bester Song des Jahres (The Road You're On

Lena & The Slide Brothers Musique blues et roots originale depuis 2009. Lena & The Slide Brothers s'est formé en 2009 à Helsinki, en Finlande. Le premier album "Turn It On" est sorti en 2010, le deuxième "Shine Your Light" en 2013.-----Leur troisième album "The Road" est sorti en 2016 et a reçu d'excellentes critiques et de nombreuses diffusions dans le monde entier.

 Le dernier album "IV" (2019) a reçu de superbes critiques partout et les radios blues du monde entier l'ont mis sur leurs playlists, UK IBBA Top 40 en avril et mai entre autres. Le groupe a joué dans la plupart des festivals finlandais de blues et de musique roots ainsi que dans des clubs et des salles de concert dans tout le pays et a également visité la Suède, l'Estonie, la France, l'Italie, la Belgique et la Suisse.
 Lena et ses compagnons de groupe se produisent occasionnellement en duo acoustique ou en trio de blues électrique. En 2016, Lena & The Slide Brothers ont représenté la Finlande au EBU European Blues Challenge 2016 en Italie.
En janvier 2017, le groupe a remporté deux catégories aux FINNISH BLUES AWARDS 2017.
