Tony Tilotta's "Dakotas" is guitarist,founder and  band leader of  the Band.
He put together the band in the early part of 1996 to persue his own musical project, and in the tradition of John Mayall, J.Lee Hooker, J.Winter,Rufus Thomas, Muddy Waters, Willi Dixon,etc
.
Tony has a revolving door policy where band members are concerned.

In this way the material stays fresh and on stage the energy remains high and yet on a personal level.
Direct contact with the audience and their loyal fan base in particular  have made the Band  a crowd favorite where ever they perform.

In Tony's own words:
"we are in a constant process of fine tuning our performance at every level, be it technical, emotional or improving our song writing skills,
it's always in a state of flux".
